Need a quick salad for lunch? Don’t know what to make for the kids? or maybe, you need some cooking inspiration.
This dish will do it all. You just have to give it a try! I only believe in easy recipes so this one isn’t any different.
- 250 gms cabbage
- 1 green Chilli finely chopped
- 1 tbs chopped coriander leaves
- 1/4 tsp grated ginger(optional)
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- Small Pinch asafoetida
- 2 tbs yogurt
- 1tsp sugar
- 2 tsp crushed groundnuts
- Salt to taste
First, wash the cabbage and cut it Julienne style. Next, in a bowl add the cabbage, chopped Chilli , ginger , coriander leaves , groundnuts and mix well.
Now add yogurt, salt and sugar. Heat the 1tsp ghee for tempering. Add asafoetida and mustard seeds. Once this starts to crackle, turn off the heat.
Add the tempering into cabbage salad.
